  Ordered a full slab lemon-raspberry birthday cake and it was awesome - very fresh with a perfect balance of flavour, without being too sweet. Also ordered 60 hamburger buns for the party, and overheard several guests comment on how much they loved them.

  Not inexpensive.. but everything is fantastic. The spence bread is my personal favourite, but somehow I always come out with sweets as well :-)

  I hired Hurst Bakery to provide the desserts at my wedding in July. They were the easiest people to deal with. When my now husband and I sat down with Lee with my mom to discuss everything, he was so enthusiastic and creative helping us to come up with an idea for our cake we could have never imagined that was perfect for who we are as a couple. My mom likes a muffin that he agreed to make into a cake liking the challenge of doing something new. They were upfront about costs sending itemized quotes, clarified anything we questioned professionally and quickly. They were great at responding to emails. More importantly, they didn't try to oversell anything or push anything on us. The desserts were devoured with no leftovers at the wedding.

  The bakery smells wonderful when you walk in. Very good selection of breads.
